We would like to express our support for the “Occupy Jesus Winners Ministry” protests that occurred today at the Jesus Winners Ministry Church in Roysambu, in opposition to President William Ruto’s Sh20 million contribution to the church.
Why would a President incessantly donate millions to churches while countless youth remain unemployed? The Ruto administration ought to prioritize the fight against corruption, improve healthcare (Taifa Care/ SHA), combat insecurity, and enhance the living conditions of Kenyans.
We encourage Kenyans of good will to organize peaceful demonstrations at all churches that will accept donations from Ruto. Kenyans have had enough of a President whose main obsession is building Churches.
